Hanging ornaments, photos & paper crafts

After seeing so many gorgeously decorated wedding photos and pictures on various blogs, I've been fascinated by the many hanging ornamental ideas that are floating around. I just love how they float in the air(well, attached from some anchor point of course) and dangle so prettily. My biggest weakness are paper decorations and ornaments. I just <3 paper art and ornaments.

I'm also loving the ideas of displaying printed photos at the garden ceremony and at the reception venue. They'll provide friends and relatives who arrive early with some browsing and time-kill factor entertainment. I myself love attending weddings where there are knick knacks, photos and objects to admire and flip through.

Wedding reception centrepieces

We're going with a mix of tradional roses and succulents as centrepieces. Not sure how to bring them all together but that will be the interesting part to come...

Traditional centrepieces of flowers are extremely beautiful but oh-so-tragic when a week after the wedding, they wilt and die. Still - they're beautiful...

Ideas from the web that I <3 :

Wishing wells, card boxes and bird cages

It has come to the point that I must decide on whether to hire, buy or make my own wishing well, card box or bird cage. It's a dilemma. Firstly, to hire is simple and easy but there are no keepsakes because when the night is over, the hired object is returned.

Whereas if I buy or make the card box, then it's something that I can retain and keep for keepsakes.

Some inspirations that I've stumbled upon across the web:

[The satin flowers are sooooo pretty!!]

[Simple yet oh so elegant]

[Cream card box with diamantes and brooches for that shiny yet stylish look]

[This one is DIY card box and while I'm not a fan of the writing, I like the stripes on the side]

[Simple yet supremely elegant and stylish]

[Another beauty]

[Love the three tier look. It's all the rage right now for DIY card boxes to resemble the wedding cakes. Image source: Unknown]
